Design Challenge:
Rebrand a global cultural museum using a thorough design process that includes research, analysis, business strategy, and organization. Design the primary identity and apply it to multiple media brand touchpoints to reflect the brand's image and values. Create a brand manual to specify how to publish and fabricate elements of the brand identity system to guide how branded marketing materials are conceived and produced in the future.
Solution:
My design process began with researching MuseumLab. My research led to a comprehensive understanding of the brand's spirit, purpose, audience, and core values. Using this research, I began design studies. I created numerous iterations of the logo, typography, and other brand identity elements in order to refine the most successful ideas. With this as a foundation, I designed the final primary identity elements and implemented them into a variety of media touchpoints. Following this, I created the brand manual to serve as a guide for future applications of the brand's identity.
